Evidence-Based Therapy

I implement evidence-based psychotherapy methods and draw from contemporary psychodynamic psychotherapy and third-wave cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT) such as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and compassion-focused therapy (CFT), as well as aspects of narrative therapy and family systems therapy, to instill self-understanding among clients and encourage them to adopt new mindsets and stances toward life situations, ineffective patterns, and beliefs.

It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix - therapy is a healing process that necessitates participation and investment from the client and/or caretaker(s) alike. But in the end, making incremental adjustments to unhelpful behaviors and coping with challenging beliefs/feelings can bring about beneficial, life-altering results.

There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside of you.
